COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT



On Friday, June 29, 2018, Salt Creek A.B.A.T.E. presented a check for $340 to the All Veterans Park restoration project, and another check for $230 to the Sons of the American Legion. The money for All Veterans Park will help continue ongoing renovations, which includes cleaning the engraved memorial bricks at the park. Youtube slide show by New Herald News LLC.

IDOT Adopt-A-Highway Program


For many year, Salt Creek ABATE keeps clean a two-mile stretch of Illinois Route 66 just south of Lincoln that crosses Salt Creek. Click here to learn more about this program.

Lincoln Christmas Parade

Despite the cold winter evening for this parade, Salt Creek ABATE has a float and several riders in the event!

Volunteer Work at The Mill


Salt Creek ABATE Members have donated many, many hours of time to help finish the restoration of The Mill, and Johnny Jacks is now also a museum volunteer as well! Everyone at The Mill is extremely grateful for this hard work!
